2024 Honorees

The Community Partner Award honors a long-standing partnership and a significant financial supporter crucial to CSD’s dental care programs. This year’s honoree, the Mallinger Family, has supported the CSD mission for over 14 years. The Mallinger family includes Gene and Becky, along with their three children and spouses, Tony and Anne, Joe and Jenny, and Nick and Jamie. The family began championing our mission after seeing the direct need for CSD’s care in schools, where Becky herself worked as an ESL teacher. For over a decade, they have remained steadfast in their advocacy for and investment in ensuring our programs reach children with no other dental care option.

The Smiles Champion Award is given annually to an individual/s who have played an integral role in the success of the clinic and in making more smiles healthy for some of our region’s most vulnerable patients. In 2024, we are honored to present this award to the Brilowski family. Pam Brilowski is a registered dental hygienist and the former director of the RDH program at Waukesha County Technical College. Pam was one of the core leaders who worked with our founders to evaluate how CSD could help conceive the CSD mission, followed by years of collaboration in her role at WCTC and then a three year term on the CSD Board of Directors. Since its inception, Brilowski Family Dentistry, which Pam owns with her husband, Dr. David Brilowski, has been a dental community leader and donor. Over the years, the family added to their support through Sweet Tooth, a customized bakery company started by Pam and her daughter, Brianna. Furthermore, Dave and Pam’s son and daughter-in-law, Drs. Brock and Karin Brilowski, began volunteering at the CSD clinic to help us navigate our recent and unprecedented patient demand. The family as a whole, as well as Brilowski Family Dentistry, has further supported CSD with ongoing financial donations.

Both of our 2024 honorees represent families who have taken an innovative and intentional approach to philanthropy and generational community leadership. Congratulations to the Mallinger and Brilowski families!

2024 Comedian

Caroline Rhea

Caroline Rhea is a stand-up comedian and actress, best known for her role as Hilda Spellman on the ABC hit series Sabrina the Teenage Witch and numerous comedy specials on Comedy Central, HBO, and Showtime. Caroline is currently starring in Disney Channel’s Sydney to the Max, and hosts Caroline and Friends, her hit game show for Game Show Network, now in its second season. She is a regular panelist on ABC’s Match Game with Alec Baldwin and is often on other game shows such as Hollywood Squares and Funny You Should Ask. Caroline was the host of the Caroline Rhea Show, has appeared as Linda Flynn Fletcher on Phineas and Ferb for over 10 seasons, and has guest starred on many hit series, including Two Broke Girls, The Mark Maron Show, and The Grinder. Caroline starred as Noleta Nethercott in the cult classic series Sordid Lives and reprised her role in the film A Very Sordid Wedding, which ranked #1 on Amazon Films for a full month following its release. Most recently, she can be seen on the dais of Comedy Central’s Roast of Alec Baldwin. This marks Caroline’s 30th year as a stand-up comedian.
